About Mangrove Speedboat Tour

How It Works

1. Arrive 30 minutes early at our dock (Blvd. Kukulkán km 14.6).
2. Get your safety briefing (10 min, hands-on boat handling).
3. Follow your guide through calm mangrove canals.
4. Enjoy scenic photo stops —all from the water.
5. Return to our dock for bottled water and optional drone photos—dry, relaxed, and smiling.
Note: For your safety, our guides may adjust the route (north or south through the lagoon) based on daily wind, tide, and wildlife conditions. Every path offers stunning views and peaceful navigation—you’ll always get the best possible experience that day.

Tips.

Know Before You Book

Cancellations due to inclement weather are fully refundable only when the activity is suspended by the port authorities. If the port remains open and the activity has not been canceled by the relevant authorities, we will proceed as planned. If the customer decides to cancel their reservation due to perceived unfavorable weather, please note that this will be treated as a voluntary cancellation. As such, no refund will apply.

All guests must be able to communicate in English or Spanish.

Guests that show signs of intoxication by drugs or alcohol will not be allowed to participate.

Children 0–3 years old are not allowed.

Children between the ages of 3 and 7 must be accompanied by an adult who is hands-free and does not operate the boat.

The maximum weight capacity is 530 lbs. (240 kg) per speed boat.

You must be 18 years of age and present a valid photo ID in order to drive the speedboat.

This service requires a payment of $20.00 USD per person prior to boarding, payable in cash for the use of natural marine elements (Art. 198 of the Federal Rights Law), payable on the day of your activity.

If you are pregnant or have had recent surgery, asthma, severe back or neck pain, or claustrophobia, you should not participate.

Subject to favorable weather conditions.

If you cancel due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or a full refund.

The MUSA gallery at Punta Nizuc National Park is only open to intermediate and advanced swimmers and during favorable weather conditions.

For the shared speed boat option, a minimum requirement of two people is necessary. If, by accident, one person books under this price and there isn't someone to share a speedboat with, an additional 35 USD will be charged at the moment of check-in.

You never leave the boat, so there’s no need for masks, fins, or life vests beyond the mandatory flotation aid. And because we operate from km 14.6, we skip the crowded departure zones near downtown. Within minutes, you’re in the protected Nichupté Mangrove Reserve —a UNESCO-recognized wetland that filters water, prevents erosion, and shelters over 200 species of birds, including roseate spoonbills, ospreys, and great blue herons. This tour proves you don’t need to get wet to connect with nature. It’s peaceful, safe, and perfect for anyone who wants to see Cancun from a new angle—without the hassle.

What to bring

Passport or Government issued I.D.

Bathing suit (already have on).

Biodegradable sunscreen.

hat, sunglasses, a long-sleeve shirt or rash guard, etc.

Towel and change of clothes for after the excursion.

Shoes that can get wet (flip-flops or water shoes are fine).

Camera (recommended only if waterproof).

Cash for tips and photo service.

Do not bring any valuables or items that can not get wet, lost items are very hard to find in the water.
NOTE:
If you would like to take your cell phone on the excursion for photos, make sure it is waterproof or bring a Ziplock bag to store it in. Restrooms and showers are available at the marina before and after the excursion.

Rules & restrictions

The following guests cannot participate:
People under the influence of drugs or any illegal substances are not allowed on the tour and are subject to NO REFUNDS. Pregnant women. Guests with recent surgeries. Guests with neck, back, arm, or leg problems or casts. Guests who have epilepsy, heart conditions, and/or dizziness. Other important notes: We cannot exceed 2 participants per boat. (within the weight limit). All guests must be able to communicate in English or Spanish. Maximum Weight Limit: 260 lbs. per person | 530 lbs. per boat. Minimum Age: 3 years old | Participants Ages 3-17 must be accompanied by an adult on the same boat.
